April 23, 2015Smedmore House, Dorset’s stunning country house for rent, is let on a self-catering basis but if you would like to hire some extra help, we can assist you to find the perfect solution for your requirements. Whether it’s just a little bit of help laying the table and clearing, the preparation of breakfasts and simple lunches or something much more advanced like a private chef, we have a list of people who can help.
Dorset is well known for the quality of its local produce and below you will also find a list of our favourite suppliers. Some of them are very local indeed so you’ll be keeping your food miles to a minimum.
CATERING
These providers are all highly recommended and work regularly at Smedmore House. They cater for dinner parties, whole weekends and informal BBQs for our rental guests. If you are looking for caterers for larger numbers or for a marquee event, you should consult our list of wedding caterers.
All these caterers and cooks can either provide full waitress service, or just drop off a meal for later use.
Connie Hawker Connie is a keen and confident cook. From cooking a breakfast fry-up for a crowd to creating a formal celebratory dinner, she is happy to adapt to what you want from weekends to drop-off meals with a practical can do attitude and of course a smile!
